September 15, 2014 - "Letters"

ATN - My mother saved all my father's letters to me during the war!

MEB - The letters of the alphabet

MEL - Robert is learning all about the letters A-C this month.
 "Mommy, A is apple, alligator, and Abbey."...all day long! :)

September 14, 2014 - "Symmetry"

ATN - I like the arrangement of the red china plates on my wall.

MEB - A piece of woodwork 

MEL - I am not feeling very symmetrical at the moment.

September 13, 2014 - "Ouch"

ATN - Got an ouch?  We got band-aids!

MEB - A blister on your heel is always painful!

MEL - I am protesting today's word because it was an awesome day!
The only painful things were Tommy's feet because he cramped them into
 small shoes the night before.  Everything else was perfect!

September 12, 2014 - "Liquid"

ATN - Plenty of liquid here...

MEB - We have been seeing quite a bit of this liquid stuff. 

MEL - Spilled water bottle lead to major toddler tears.

September 11, 2014 - "Today"

ATN -  Never forget what happened 13 years ago today!

MEB - God Bless the USA!

MEL - I know...I know...but today we went to Sheetz to get a drink.
Mako jumped in my seat and began to howl so loud that I could hear it way inside.
Got a lot of looks when I walked back to my car. 120lb baby.

September 10, 2014 - "On the Wall"

ATN - Thanks to Barret we have Franco hanging on our wall. Go Steelers!  

MEB - I have this hanging on my wall at school. Words to live by...

MEL - Just hung a picture of a dear friend finally being able to hold her
three premies all together to my inspiration wall.
If her strength isn't inspiration, I don't know what it is. xoxo

ATN - I wish I may.

MEB - Oh, how I wish for a few days of blue skies.

MEL - I wish Grandpolly and Aunt Rosalie were still here.

September 7, 2014 - "Someday"

ATN - Someday HGTv stuff will be done and Mt. Airy will be glowing!

MEB - Someday I hope I will be as wonderful as my grandparents were!

MEL - Someday in January Robert's new partner in crime will be here!

September 6, 2014 - "Indulge"

ATN - I have upgraded my powershot to this wonderful gem.  Image stabilizer
and "world's first compact digital camera with 50x optical zoom lens".
My SLR is still my favorite but this is perfect to take w/me everyday.
:)

MEB - I may indulge myself by taking some time to read.

MEL - I love watching Robert indulge himself in the world of make-believe.

September 5, 2014 - "DIY"

ATN - I DIY!  I figured out how to get my 'signature' at the bottom of a
photograph through Picasa.  Those of you who use PhotoShop etc...may
wonder about all the fuss....but this has been an ongoing struggle and
I am so proud of ME!

MEB - Well instead of DIY this should be called DIM. I Did It all by Myself.
I wonder if the clean-up fairy makes house calls...

MEL - A DIY bowtie to annouce its a boy!

ATN - Cloud cover always makes the best sunset photographs.

September 3, 2014 - "List"

ATN - This is the list I check everyday!

MEB - This is working copy of the December  POD (picture of the day) list.

MEL - This book is nothing but one long to-do list.

September 2, 2104 - "Craft"

ATN - Needlepoint used to be my craft of choice!

MEB - My husband's grandmother created many beautiful pieces of cross stitch.
She made this when my daughter was born.

MEL - My sister is amazing at scrapbooking!  

September 1, 2014 - "Cookout"

ATN -  This is all that remains of our Labor Day cookout...flank steak,
baked potato, salad and lemonade pie!  Heavenly!!

MEB - Well by the time the rains stopped, it was to late for a cookout.

MEL - All great cookouts include a game of baseball.

August 31, 2014 - "Plate"

ATN - This stack of colorful plates means summer breakfasts and suppers on
the porch with lots of family and friends...2014 has been a
wonderfully cool summer.

MEB - This once belonged to my grandmother.

MEL - A piece of my wedding china.

August 30 , 2014 - "Boat"

ATN - The closest boat to our cottage belongs to our next door neighbors.

MEB - Here it is Labor Day weekend and my kayak is hidden in the garage
instead of being on a lake.

MEL - We had an awesome day on the boat with our friends at Lake Gaston!
