July 23, 2014 - "Mood"

ATN - Just imagining Meriam's laughter is enough to put anyone in a good mood!

MEB - I am FINALLY getting in the mood to get things made for my classroom.

MEL - Can you tell that I haven't been in the mood to clean out my car?

July 22, 2014 - Happiness

ATN - 25 years ago my daughter glowed with happiness.

MEB - Need I say more?

MEL - Happiness is a 12 layer yellow cake with chocolate icing.

July 21, 2014 - "Open"

ATN - Open shelving keeps things neat and tidy.

MEB - School isn't even open and yet many of us have already begun to get ready.

MEL - It has been dark and cloudy all day...just waiting for the heavens to open and give us some much needed rain.

July 20, 2014 - "Vacation"

ATN - We were on the 19th floor in a condo on Daytona Beach for our
vacation..so high up the pelicans were flying below me....

MEB - We spent our family vacation time camping at Whitetail Ridge Campground.  We had a wonderful time making long lasting family memories.

MEL - Heading home from a great vacation in the OBX.

July 19, 2014 - "Picnic"

ATN - Our picnic table on the banks of the Rappahannock River!

MEB - Eggs, bacon, and biscuits for a picnic breakfast.

July 18, 2014 - "Float"

            ATN -  Float toys in the gazebo...

MEB - Nothing better than floating in a kayak on a beautiful day...

MEL - Boogie Boards are also good ocean floats.

July 17, 2014 - "Water"

ATN - I am guessing.  Margaret will have a lake.  Mary will have the ocean.
And I have a river.

MEB - Ahhhh... A peaceful morning looking out on West Point Lake.

MEL - Heading to the water to go surfing.

July 16, 2014 - "Wildlife"

ATN - This bit of wildlife appeared at my breakfast table this
morning...looking for a way to get back outside...

MEB - A heron came to visit us while we were having our breakfast.

MEL - We have seen a lot of wildlife on our trip, including a bear, but today the only animals we saw were chickens.

July 15, 2014 - "Adventure"

ATN - What adventure lies beyond the bend?

MEB - We are walking around West Point Lake. I may never leave!!!

MEL - These two are exhausted from all of our adventures!

July 14, 2014 - "Travel"

ATN - Word of warning: you shouldn't travel over the speed limit through my town.

MEB - This is how Luke travels in the truck... On my lap!

MEL - After a long travel day yesterday, Robert didn't mind getting back in his carseat this morning to head to the beach!

July 13, 2014 - "Hot"

ATN - It is Hot in Tappahannock...95..but only 89 here on the river.

MEB - It is not that hot outside but is it ever humid!!!!!

MEL - We don't care if it is hot...we are at the beach!!

July 12, 2014 - "Tree"

ATN - Huge tree at the end of our driveway...

MEB - A dead tree is the perfect spot to find holes that a woodpecker
made looking for food. 

MEL - My stargazer lilies are so tall and full that they look like trees in my garden.

July 11, 2014 - "Quiet"

ATN -  Quiet morning on the river.    :)

MEB - I am spending some quiet time with Luke.

MEL - I had some quiet time to myself today...so I went to Target and got the new baby a new outfit!

July 10, 2014 - "T"

ATN - Tayloe fishing...Thanksgiving 1979!

MEB - My little brother Tayloe...  Plus a few of the many ladies in his family. 

MEL - Happy Birthday, T!

July 9, 2014 - "Random"

ATN - Tayloe and Thomas made chocolate/peppermint cookies for their father's birthday which is tomorrow!!

MEB - Luke decided he was going to hide his bone on the pillow and under the strap of my pocketbook.

MEL - A random run in with impetigo means all the stuffed animals had to be washed and hung out to dry.

July 8, 2014 - "Album"

ATN - You may have meant 'music' but I have the photo variety and years of photos. Very organized!!

MEB - It was fun looking through an old photo album of when Mary and I went to California.

MEL - A great album!
